Positives:
I like the hotel location near many places to shop and eat. The facilities were 5* for the price definitely worth it. In person, the staff was very friendly, a busy place for sure. Also, they included a free drink ticket with check in, which was neat.
Negatives:
However, when you call the hotel the first thing I hear is "can I put you on hold". Not great when it's urgent. Also, financially speaking if you like your deposit returned ASAP then I wouldn't go here. I have still yet to receive my deposit back and it has been almost a Month! April 6th. I did call, and ofc placed on hold, and ignored.
So that's why the low rating.
P.s. NO Fridge but door dash will leave order in lobby!

Positives:
Nice modern hotel with contemporary decor and styling. Well located in Downtown Portland, easy to walk to restaurants and bars and good public transport connections.
Negatives:
For a recently built hotel there was very little sound insulation. I am not so concerned with exterior sounds as I often stay in city centres, but I was surprised by how much I could hear from other rooms and this wasn't from guests being excessive loud. While the hotel provides a sound cancellation/white noise machine in your room, this was more disruptive to me than the noise from other guests.

no breakfast as the breakfast place is closed sun-wed, no cream for the half and half no carry trays for the hot beverages.

I liked the shower and bathroom. The room was cozy and I would stay again. It was in a nice location. Perfect walking distance to the crystal ballroom.
