Shilo Inn Portland Rose Garden

Negatives: I hope I did not get charged for 2 days

Negatives: The room smelled like mildew and smoke. The sheets looked like they were not washed and the main blanket had blood on it. When I talked to the front desk agent they just wanted to exchange the blanket. at that time I was late for an appointment. later that night I went to talk to the front desk agent again and that was less than pleasant, He was rude and we asked if there was anything he could do and he went and looked at the rooms and said because the blankets have been moved we could not get a refund or even a parcel refund. he was extremely rude at this point and just walked away and we did not see him for the rest of the night. we ended up leaving and driving 3 hours to go home that night. The hotel was extremely dirty from the parking lot to the hallways and rooms. the lobby was messy and piled with paperwork and fans and trash.

Negatives: Need More towels and bathroom amenities. Room was clean but weird odor in our room and the entire motel. The bed was extremely hard and rolled away from the wall during the night, which caused our pillows to fall off the bed. Dingy but clean is close. Ice machine was also broken. Office was only open for a 4 hour period(4pm-8pm) which was noted on the doors. We were celebrating our Anniversary, Shilo Inn has always had a reputation of above average, sadly that is not what we experiences. The system is rating our review as 6 however I would give it no more than a 5.

Negatives: Smell, TV did not work! There was only 1 towel in bathroom, shower curtain was ripped, chair in room was so dirty

Negatives: Wasn’t the room showed in pictures, stained carpets, was giving one set of towels.

Negatives: Disgusting place with terrible smell. The nigh receptionist was sketchy. We are never coming back to this place.

Negatives: Looks, location, smell, price, the fact that nothing worked, the fact that we lost power, the fact that it said it served breakfast on Google but they didn't. The owner obviously literally puts zero effort into running it

Negatives: To many homeless people hanging by the back door

Negatives: Some of the outlets in the room did not work and your graveyard staff was very rude. Had us waiting out there in the rain for almost an hour, then when he returned he had decided to not give us the room we had already purchase and we had to plea and apologize for his behavior when we were one’s out in the cold
