This is by far one of my favorite Hotels. Its within walking distance of many attractions I enjoy, and is very, very comfortable and safe. I highly recommend a stay here as it will turn into many more in the future.

I’m not from Portland, so the parking garage in the middle of a turn threw me off it was hard to get in but we got the hang of it

Everything was great. Rooms are very clean. The location was great close to the bridge to get to the hwy

The 1 issue we had was parking we paid for overnight parking but there was not enough spots available. We talk to other guest with the same issue. To me if you sell 20 parking passes you should have 20 parking stalls

Staff was friendly and responsive. Location was great.
Negatives:
It was dirty, stains on the curtains and the bathroom door. There was dust everywhere. The heater didn’t work and the boilers weren’t lit the first night. The space heater they brought up next day was not working either. The showers flooded the bathroom. And the fridge wasn’t working when we left. The staff was friendly and responsive but the building was tired and old.

Decent hotel on the river...
Positives:
The river view from our room was awesome and the food at the restaurant was as well. Beds were comfy and we loved the pineapple water when we arrived. The location is very 'walkable' to shops and restaurants.
Negatives:
Our room was sweltering at night, the thermostat didn't work at all and if we opened the windows (both sliders were broken) we couldn't sleep because of the traffic noise from the busy road out front. It was our first trip to Portland and we were not prepared for the number of homeless people living around the hotel. We hope Portland can get move forward with mental health and addictions supports so that businesses can return to the beautiful downtown buildings.
