We were in room 300. When you walk into the front door it is a bedroom then you can go to living room from there. There is a window from the first bedroom that looks into the living room. The other bedroom door is glass, so there is no privacy at all. The couch had weird mystery stains on it.

Very close to the beach. Parking was easy and convenient. Full kitchen supplied and bedrooms. Very comfortable.

The office was a few blocks away and we didnt know until we got to the motel so we had to pack the kids back up and drive down the street about 6 blocks to get the keys.

Oddly placed light switches (room was dark and switches were not near door as expected) one switch was for entryway but other attached to bedside lamp that was turned off. It should have been attached to the overhead light. Overhead light used way to short a chain to turn on, fan chain was much longer neither had endcaps. Every sound from neighbor rooms was heard clearly- every word, step, flush, use of sink, every sound. Sink plug was not attached to the lever (which came out completely when lifted). Plug itself came out and was covered in slime and hair. mini fridge freezer was filled with frost. Coffee pot was still dirty from who knows when. I cleaned the pot myself, and the sink plug but could not attach the lever. Bed was higher than necessary and difficult to get into. Management presence was practically non existent-check out process was non existent other than leaving key on microwave and locking door- no reciept, no option to review charges and use different card in person to prevent card being declined. Having to go to one hotel multiple blocks away (est 18-20 blocks walking) to check into the the other, and getting a person who was passive aggressive rude because it was inconvenient for her to check me in. No daily housekeeping, No phone in room, or even a clock. So no way of addressing concerns. All in all very bad experience and not worth it. Add to that the neighbor room occupant walked up at 4 pm and got the room for $30 a night for 4 nights same days I was there. I could have been charged over half of what I paid simply by just showing up instead of booking online. He didnt tell me directly- he was telling someone while in his room and I heard every word without trying. The whole experience was not worth the cost. And it just made OYO and frankly Booking.com look bad. I feel like I got a bad deal and still got charged for it. Not fair at all.

Microwave under the counter was difficult to use especially with no brace to keep it from sliding back.. Pull chains to control ceiling fan/light could not be reached.. No shelf in bathroom to hold toiletries.. A water leak on floor behind the sink.. Sound on TV fluctuated from TOO LOUD to too soft..annoying to keep adjusting.. Value for the price charged not there..too expensive for what you get..cosmetic changes not enough..

There is no reception at this location. In order to check in, the visitors have to find the other location indicated on the sign of the closed reception. The other location is very difficult to find and is ~7 min by car. Upon check-in, I requested a map on how to get back to the actual booked motel and I was informed that they don't have any. Got lost on the way back to the motel - this part of the service was awful!! THERE WAS NO MENTION WHILE BOOKING THAT CHECK-IN IS AT ANOTHER LOCATION!!! I HAVE LOST ~1 HR DRIVING AROUND - I COULD HAVE SPENT THIS TIME ON THE BEACH!! Two other visitors had the same problem!

wasted lots of time on arrival trying to find check-in

Not much, unfortunately. The room was waaaaaaaaaaaaay smaller than we anticipated.
It was clean & the bed was comfortable, but that was about it.
The location was good. It was just a few blocks from the beach & the Seaside aquarium.
And at least it did feel safe. The location & building itself was nice.
Negatives:
Well, first off, we had to drive across town to check in. Had to go to a different hotel to get checked in. There was no hotel staff on premises. None. So that was a huge inconvenience.
Secondly, the room was a tiny box with a bed & a TV. It was so small. Way smaller than we expected it to be. The bed basically filled the entire room. The bathroom was equally tiny.
We had issues with the TV & the internet & there was no one we could call to get it sorted. The only number I had was to an out of state OYO operator, but he didn't know any specifics about the hotel.
We booked this room, but had no point of reference, or any one to turn to ask general questions about the hotel. Major inconvenience. Plus the room was small.
Will not stay here again, if it can be avoided.
