Positives:
This was a last-minute booking from a rest stop parking lot very late at night. Thank goodness it all worked out. The property surpassed my expectations in quality, comfort, and cost. The staff made checking in and checking out a breeze. The room was perfect. It was clean, bright, and comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent for travel. You can pop on and off Interstate Highway 81 with ease, and there are plenty of places to fuel up and grab a bite to eat.

It’s seen better days. It’s rating for a listed as 8.2. I usually don’t stay anywhere under 8 but this should have been listed as a 7.5. We stayed here a year or two ago and I don’t remember it looking so dumpy.

I like that it was only two levels, that I was able to make the choice to get the ground floor and it was very easy to get to our room. I felt like the ability to get a parking place in front, where it was lighted, was a plus and it felt safe. I felt that the design of the building had some artistic forethought to be attractive.
Negatives:
I did not like that. The tub had stains in it. Unfortunately, the tub did not drain well at all and so I had to forgo taking a shower because I would’ve been standing in the water. I think that if you offer a shower, your drain should be working properly.
Regarding dining. I was not pleased with this at all. The food was very low quality. For someone that must eat, gluten-free and dairy free, there was not much available. I wish that you had more health, conscious provisions. The eggs did not look fresh, but they look like they were processed eggs.
