Air conditioner worked sporadically and most of the time I was covered in perspiration; when it stopped blowing, it made a noise like a ticking time bomb. Extremely annoying and difficult to get quality sleep. The speed button on the hair dryer was broken so I had to style my hair for a formal event on low power - needless to say, it looked sub par. There was black mold in the corner of the shower. The entire facility is in need of refurbishing...doors to rooms are dinged, faded, marked up, and overall just give the appearance of an unkempt property.

The front desk staff was AWESOME! I booked two rooms and wanted them close since we traveled with children; however, the air conditioner in one room didn't work. I informed them and they immediately changed my room but due to it being so far apart I declined the room. They were understanding and gave me a refund. What I didn't like was the next morning staff knocked on my door (two men) to ask me what time I would be checking out. Mind you check out was 12pm..they knocked about 9am. I complained to the front desk and the gentleman was very nice and assured me he would speak to them. That was the biggest turn off for me! As stated, the other staff I interacted with was great. The room was comfortable.
Negatives:
I didn't like that the housekeeper felt it was ok to knock on my door to ask what time I was checking out hours before checkout. Then when I told him 12; he had the nerve to tell me "no 11:30"!!! How bold is that? For me that was the worst part of my stay. If I'm on vacation I'm allowed to sleep and stay in the room until checkout and if I'm there after its the hotel's responsibility to deal with me on it. Not the housekeeper!!!

Positives:
Have 2 complaints that were minor. The a/c unit was older and didn’t get as cold as my family wld have been most comfortable in. It did work lightly and cool but not cold like we are use to. Also the tv disposable remote did not work but we checked in late and were tired anyway. Not bad for value.
Negatives:
Av unit not cold. Remote didn’t work for television.
