Homewood Suites By Hilton Philadelphia/Great Valley

Negatives: The breakfast in the morning was not as good as other places. The fitted sheets on the beds did not fit well and came off every night. The service was poor. On checkin in there were 2 towels and 2 washcloths in the room for 2 people. It took 2 days after calling on the 2nd day of stay to get more towels and wash cloths. We did not get these things until the 4th morning after calling 2 more times and received them the morning of check out. Multiple times calling down to the front desk and going to the front desk there was nobody there. Then was told we had to go down to get wash cloth and towels because there was no one to bring it up, even though we had been calling since morning. Then, when we went down there, there was no one there to get linen from at the front desk. The shower drain made noises all the time. The hallways were hot, and I went to the front desk and the employee said he wasn't allowed to touch it. We'll if guests are complaining, shouldn't he look into making the halls more comfortable instead of sweating, just walking to the elevators?? We travel alot and have stayed at many Homewood Suites and the stays have been wonderful. This stay was terrible and we will not be coming back.

Negatives: I would like to see more fruits for breakfast, like strawberries, grapes.

Negatives: The broken furniture and the location

Negatives: The hotel was evidently understaffed. Despite several reminders the room was not cleaned and house keeping service was not provided. The indoor pool area had no changing rooms and the water was cold. Even after asking the temp to be increased it was not done. The breakfast was quite basic as well. Perhaps our expectations were high from a hilton branded property
