Positives:
Came to the city for an event in the convention center. My review is based on comparing this hotel to another hotel (of a different brand) nearby, which we stayed in the past, and the Hampton Inn exceeded expectations. Included breakfast was pretty good and worth part of the value of the room. Front Desk staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was clean upon arrival. Lobby is nice and modern. Elevators in good working order. Very convenient for those who are going to the convention.
Negatives:
Many hotels are reducing frequency of cleaning staff, so I get that. There was a note in the room saying they would only service our room every other day. However, when they did service it, all they did was empty the trash.

Positives:
It was directly across the street from the convention center.
Negatives:
They force you to use there valet service. There's literally no where to park except their parking lot and you can't use it unless you use the valet which is $57 a night. Staff was more interested in talking to each other than helping guests and the site lied about there being a pool. If it wasn't right across the street from our destination we would never book here again.

Location was very central which worked for what we needed

breakfast room was not the best - plastic plates and cutlery. Foods was not being brought out quicker enough often cold and lacking options. It was also very messy and no one to clean the tables
