Positives:
room was quiet and very clean with exceptional quality bedding. Room service was also nice.
Negatives:
I believe I got bed bug bites, limited to one pillow. Staff was made aware, and I assume mitigations took place. But follow up calls have gone unanswered. I and my family have treated ourselves.
We had picked this hotel as we thought it was historic. The interiors were not reflective of that.

Check-in was an absolute nightmare. It took them over 90 minutes and much discussion to get me a room. There were people getting ready for a black tie function getting ready in the lobby bathrooms. The lobby looked like the Port Authority station in NYC because none of the rooms we ready. When we did not receive notifications that our rooms were ready after 90 minutes, I waited on line for a half an hour to be told that I would just have to wait.

Positives:
From the minute I parked my car in the hotel garage until checked out I encountered professional and polite staff. A special mention to the garage staff. Due to the Philadelphia marathon the streets were blocked in every direction. My car had to be parked in an overflow lot because the hotel was full. Everyone was attempting to leave at the same time. Even through they were extremely busy a staff member walked me 3 long city blocked at 5:30 am to get my car. That's what great service looks like. I'm impressed.
