Definitely a nicer hotel. The staff was friendly. Rotating breakfast that had a good variety of options, from pancakes to breakfast tacos. Decent walking distance from most places - close to the baseball/football stadiums, across the street from the Museum of Illusions, a short walk to several restaurants/bars, and barely a 3-minute walk to Stage AE for concerts/events.
Negatives:
I didn't like the parking fee tacked on upon check-in. I understand they "need" to do it being in a city, I just wish it would be more transparent and less of a surprise. The beds were also minorly uncomfortable in my opinion. I also wish breakfast was served for a little longer on weekdays but other than that I had no complaints.

I loved the location. I like the feel of the environment when I walked in.
Negatives:
I didn’t like the walls were dirty in my room. The towel rack was rusty with clean white towels on it. I didn’t like the frozen fruit for breakfast..nor should the utensils be placed under the hot lamp with the food. The handles were HOT!! I didn’t like the rear entrance to the parking lot was blocked off and guests were made to go all the way around.
