Negatives: Where do I begin? We get a courtesy message from the hotel that there is an event that weekend and it would be difficult to valet or park our car. We were given no option to cancel due to the inconvenience. So we waited until late at night to arrive after a very long, hectic day. Upon arrival, we realize there is an EDM concert going on literally 30 feet from the hotel. What’s worse, they put us on the same side of the hotel so that the concert is literally rattling the entire room. The hotel staff was dismissive and unapologetic. We sat on the bathroom floor for two hours because it was the only place to go that didn’t shake and rattle. At midnight, the music finally stopped. However, that’s when we realized that the a/c sounded like a 747 landing. It was EXTREMELY loud and cut off and on all night, startling us awake numerous times. We made the trip so my wife could see old college friends and show me around the Brown campus where she went to school before we met. Instead, she spent most of the next day exhausted and sick from the stress and lack of sleep. Truly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Thankfully we spent the next night at the Graduate which is insanely better than this place.

Negatives: Could have used another luggage rack in our room

Negatives: Disappointed that there were no food items like granolla bars or breakfast type snacks available

Negatives: To be a four-star was quite a delusion! Probably in Europe, we have different standards for four stars, but the room was very basic! I'm used to having all kinds of useful gadgets in four-star, like nail care things and similar. I mean they are small details but when you travel for work this kind of detail counts! The desk was really tiny; I was barely able to place my laptop on it, considering that the boiler and coffee maker were on the same desk. I was barely able to open the ironing table in the room. There was no cleaning service, and the gym was almost always closed! Let's say it would have been a decent three-star hotel.

Negatives: The attitude of the staff

Negatives: Noise from outside the room (our neighboring room) traveled, as well as noise from the street. Used white noise on Spotify to sleep.

Negatives: I tried to check in prior to The normal check in time of 4 PM and they wanted to charge me an additional $25 to do so so I decided not to. Also, valet parking additional charge of $40 for one night. I feel that this should be included in your hotel cost due to how expensive it is each night.

Negatives: Gathering of the homeless community right outside of the hotel.

Negatives: Noisy air conditioner right next to bed. Noise beginning at 7:15 from housekeepers closet just on other side of bed. And the location, especially for a solo woman traveler was very uncomfortable. Homeless mission spots (2) right beside hotel.

Negatives: Property is run down. Room is tired. Staff is despondent. Hotel is empty. Should shut down

Negatives: I have no complaints whatsoever. I was made very welcome, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Negatives: Air-con and refrigerator noise was excessively noisy. I had unplug the refrigerator and turn off the aircon to keep down the humming and whirring.
