Positives: The location was great, and the staff was very accommodating of my need for an early check-in.

Negatives: The water coming out of my bathroom sink was brown. The walls were thin and I could here someone’s entire conversation in the next room, and people walking and talking in the halls. There was a distinct “old building” smell. The elevator was so old and tiny that it was almost easier to take the stairs than bother with the elevator when you’re carrying luggage.

Positives: Great, amazing staff. Awesome karaoke bar. Location is phenomenal.

Negatives: No pool. No breakfast. Elevator lift very outdated. It’s kind of the theme of the place so I can’t really knock it that much, but definitely no more room than 2 to 3 people. The rooms are OK but they’re so worried about washing towels and recycling everything that it kind of made me feel a little bit diluted. They literally tell you to reuse a dirty/used towel to conserve. Lol. The rooms are OK. They are uniquely designed but I guess I just wasn’t into it that much.

Positives: The location was great if you are looking for something in walking distance to the convention center. The ambiance was great like a 50 - 60s vibe. The room I stayed in was a good size plenty of seating. The art work in the room was great. There were a lot of food spots within walking distance as well. Kin is great for some soul food...

Negatives: The room was nice, there were some really nice touches, but there were a lot of small things that were overlooked that could make the stay not as enjoyable. There was only one trash can in the room which was in the bathroom, could have used another in the main area, there was no fridge/Microwave but in my opinion there is more than enough room for a small combo unit. No soap dish in the shower, no phone in the room, and the stool in the bathroom could have been taller if it was to be used as counter space.

Positives: Close to venue , helpful/friendly staff, comfortable bed. Pricey for one night but I realize it was Comic-Con . However, staff gave wrong info about parking and we ended up with a big fine. They don’t automatically charge your credit card the second day you really have to pay every day.

Negatives: Dark inside but a nice, quirky spot . Need more outlets and we had no washcloths

Positives: Love the Dean! Quirky boutique hotel in a great location. Love the ambiance, the lighting, the rooms, the bath products, and even the elevator! Convenient parking next to the hotel. Super friendly staff.

Negatives: It would be nice if the coffee shop stayed open later. Maybe a small selection of sundries for purchase.
