We chose this hotel because we had a great experience at another Holiday Inn Express in NYC just a couple of days prior. We weren't disappointed! The standard room was spacious - quite a bit larger than other hotels, with a large flat screen TV and sofa. The room and the entire hotel were clean and well-maintained. The included buffet breakfast was excellent and located in a large area. The breakfast options were consistent with the other hotel we stayed in, ranging from scrambled eggs, sausage, and fried potatoes to pancakes, pastries, bagels, english muffins, yogurt, etc. Staff at reception were pleasant, helpful and efficient. The free shuttle service to and from the airport was very responsive, quick and friendly.

This hotel room was very dated, moldy, and had a very bad smell. I was moved to three different rooms the second night. The first room had a bad smell and the toilet needed to be plunged on the first night. The second room the shower faucet did not work and there was no hot water coming out of the sink. The third room has an extremely bad potential smell and there were cracks and a urine smell in the bathroom. The fourth room had cracks in all the way across the ceiling where the second queen size bed was and we found a bug crawling in the bed when we lifted up the sheet. All rooms smelt moldy and didn't not even look clean. This hotel needs to do serious renovations. I feel like I should have been fully refunded for the two nights because of this disaster of an experience.

Had to call the hotel for pickup at airport and the wait was longer than necessary. Carpeting in room was soiled. Ice machine on our floor didn't work. Morning staff was better than the night staff. Took a long time to get hot water and the shower was weird. Broken bed lamp....

While the note in the lobby about work on the hot water system gave a ‘forgive our dust’ vibe, we didn’t have reliable hot water most of the stay. We later discovered, as the desk told us, most of house keeping doesn’t speak English, so the room was not cleaned when requested.

The bed was really comfy, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

The toilet was acting a little weird but it was whatever. There was a huge hockey tournament going on so there were children running EVERYWHERE . Some really misbehaved but that's not the hotels fault. Breakfast was super mid.
