When we come the people are always sweet and so wonderful. The property itself was nice as always.

What was a miss this time was the cleanliness of the rooms. Normally everything is spot on. Unfortunately, our first room was dusty and the room they moved us to had dirty towels.

We like the location as much of downtown Charleston is accessible to walk. We also liked the style of the furnishings and efficient use of the space.
Negatives:
As most of Charleston downtown., the cost is very high relative to the size and amenities. Additionally, an extra $46 per day for valet parking is very painful.

very expensive parking- more than surrounding options- felt very much like hotel trying to run up the bill the shower was among the worst I have ever experienced. Took forever to get hot water, and the low flow showerheads made taking a shower difficult and very frustrating.
