From the staff to the over all stay must say a bang for my buck!

The staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was about typical for today's standards.
Negatives:
Our room was comfortable, but the floor had recently been replaced. As a result the curing glue was still gassing off with that drying glue smell. We tried to air out the room and used dryer sheets to lower the smell. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't have any Febreze.

Roaches in the room. Dusty, dingy, poorly maintained. Room door lock had obviously been jimmied/broken at some point in the past. After the fact, my card was charged $6 for "incidentals" which I did not use/consume.

1st room a/c broke, 2nd room it barely cooled and they wouldn't switch us to a room with working a/c. Then we were awoke to hammer drills at 8am due to remodeling. And I understand they were remodeling. That being said the place was not packed, we should have been told that they were remodeling and placed in a room away from the noise. They had plenty of rooms available. Then I was charged a $50 damage deposit that I didn't get refunded. And we left it better than we found it.

Renovated rooms looks very pleasant
Positives:
Room was comfortable and clean. The sheets and pillows were good and the bed was comfortable. Larger sized mini fridge to store items from our cooler was a plus. Appreciated the to-go cups/lids for the coffee.
Negatives:
The towels were well worn and could use a refresh. Breakfast lacked options. Room was VERY hot when we checked in (late at night) and took a long time to cool down.
