Verified Hotel Guest Traveling as Couple April 25, 2024

Positives: The location was good. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. They had some food in the evening and hot breakfast.

Negatives: The front desk clerk told us it was Sunday and most restaurants were not able to serve liquor. We looked on the internet for a brewpub and found the Carolina Ale House. They have a special license and we had a good IPA and dinner.

Positives: the location

Negatives: That my room was not cleaned after I requested service, and the water didn't work well in the room (actually have a short video of it). The Front office manager, Tony Nimons, took my request and when asked about it at check out about no service he was rude and very arrogant. This is NOT HYATT service. I have a non refundable reservation next week and once that visit is complete I will no longer stay at this hotel. Also, I noticed 2 other guests that were unhappy. If this type of service/treatment is continued this hotel will have some challenges.

Positives: I loved the staff. They were very helpful, polite, and very forthcoming about what was going on in the hotel. The hotel was clean, and throughout the day, staff was continuously cleaning.

Negatives: I didn't like the sirens throughout the night, but this was not the fault of the Hyatt, as there is a hospital close by

Negatives: I didn't know they were rebuilding. And rhe sink still had paint on it. And the rack for the closet where broken so I couldn't hang up my clothes.

Positives: The room was spacious. It had a sitting area as well as a desk plus refrigerator. The breakfast was great. A little of choices. Something for everyone. Hot and cold choices from cereal to eggs, biscuits and gravy.

Negatives: The one draw back was the bathroom area. The toilet and bathtub were combined and it was a VERY small bathroom. Could do with a little better organization.
