Gross bugs crawling everywhere couldn’t even bring in my bags.

They charged a pet fee even though I had called and they said no pet fee. They put us in a room by the pool even though I had requested one you could walk right into because of mobility issues. No ice available. We canceled a second reservation we made.

I made a reservation online, including my home address. When I arrived at the hotel I was told that I was considered a "local" and that I would have to pay a $50 dollar deposit. This despite the fact that I live on Hilton Head Island, a considerable distance from Hardeeville. Nothing was mentioned about this deposit when I reserved online. I objected and attempted to cancel my reservation, but was told cancellation was not allowed. I had reserved the room online around 5 minutes previously. This was at around 5 o'clock in the afternoon. I live on a boat on Hilton Head and will occasionally stay at a motel when there is maintenance being performed on my vessel. I have stayed at several other properties over the years and have never been asked to pay a deposit because I was a "local". The desk attendant, who was quite unpleasant, informed me that none of the other properties in the area would even rent to "locals". I happen to know this to be completely untrue. Though I have stayed at Wyndam Properties many times in the past I will never do so again.

Was only able to sleep for a couple hours and the room smelled so bad of piss that I sprayed perfume all over the place

There was nothing good about this hotel. Dirtiest room I have ever seen . Didn't even stay and never got refunded the money afterwards. Do not go to this place without getting a.tetanus shot first. And the staff was very unhelpful

I didn't like how the room was filthy, burn holes in the comforters, blood splatter d on the wall and floor. The adjoining room door didn't lock, the toilet wasn't secure to the floor and the list goes on. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Not even people I don't like.
