Positives:
The staff were very friendly, the facility was clean and the room was spacious. Special shoutout to Willie and Ito. They were very informative and took care of us at the bar.
Negatives:
The food was very bland. The chicken sandwich tasted like nothing was on it. The herb mayo that was supposed to come on the sandwich didn’t. So, I just had chicken and lettuce. We even met repeaters that come to the resort yearly who also said the food could be improved. The elevators are all the way down on one side , but I understand it is an older hotel. Also, none of the restaurants were open except Carolina Room and this was not advertised while booking. This was very disappointing due to it being the holidays. I would’ve loved to been able to enjoy a drink at the pool bar. The walls are also thin.

We had a relaxing and fun stay at The Westin Hilton Head. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Access to the pool and beach was great!

Beautiful property. Beach access was easy, the pools were beautiful.
Negatives:
The pool elevator was down the whole time we were there so we had to walk down to the main elevator. My only complaint would be the pillows. They felt very old and lumpy. I reserved a “Deluxe King Oceanfront room” and we ended up with a partial view. I questioned the front desk and was told it was the only one available. I think that when booking through Bookings.com this is what you get rather than the full oceanfront view.

Booked/confirmed king room with bath tub. Got a double queen. Was told no pet policy, got there pets galore…. Spent $1000 on 1 room to change clothes for a wedding (never used anything in the room!!) and $1234 for another because of a no pet policy that seemed to only apply to certain guests.
