The hotel is in a so-so section of town, but when you get on the property you realize it is a pretty location. There is a wharf behind the hotel with yachts and boats - you can walk around the boat dock - sunset is pretty from the deck in the back of the hotel. They have a swimming pool the kids loved - open until 11 PM!! Nice! The breakfast was amazing - very nice to be offered the full breakfast. The rooms were clean - the furniture was utilitarian in the common area/living room, but was adequate. The beds were VERY comfortable, and a mix of regular and down pillows!! Hotel is clean and reasonably priced - which makes up for the lack of elegance in the two bedroom suite.
Negatives:
We had 6 people - 4 adults and 2 children. We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms. We were given two TINY bars of DOVE soap. Normally that would be fine, because you have DOVE dispensers in the bathroom with hand soap, lotion, and in the shower body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Well, the dispenser on the "body wash" was broken off - you could still kind of get the wash out but it was empty. The shampoo was empty, too. So, those tiny bars of soap did not really work. We were there two nights. We got towel replenishment the second day - they did not make beds or refill the dispensers. We got in late the second day and were too tired to ask for the refills. Extra blankets in the room would have been nice - some of us were cold while the others were hot. The blinds were nice, two sets - one for privacy you could see thru - the other opaque to keep out light.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. Our room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was wonderful and there was a very good range of items available. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall the it was a descent experience. But, as it is a tourist city, it was loud with kids, but that’s expected. Also, it seemed as though they were short on staff, but the one lady they had working the check in counter was very polite and helpful.
