Negatives: First, i dont believe we received the room we should have. Two double beds to me, is not a sofa pull out. I asked if we could have a late check out since the place is empty and all restaurants are closed. Still waiting to gear back from someone. Staff on duty could nit help. Confused as to why you wouldnt keep your own restUrant open for take out. That mandated people go out to find food.

Positives: I think parking is so limited, not too bad but coming in late you’ll have to park far away.
Negatives: The hotel originally sold us amusement park site rooms but it was closed for the season. They did upgrade me , with the scarified of a bed. I think they shouldn’t advertise those rooms off season then get there to see a closed park. Room service was invisible!

Positives: The first room had a very fishy smell . Very unpleasant. Was moved to another room that had a much better view, not fishy smelled. Bed was comfortable. Facilities was satisfactory.

Positives: it was better than the original placed we booked. it was walk out to the beach. there were plenty of pool selections. the suite was large and roomy.
Negatives: parking for non-members was off site and across the road. we had to ask numerous times for pool towels. it was three days before they were placed by the pool. there were not many outlets in the room.

Positives: The only good thing about this place is that it is right in front of the beach. You can walk out of the hotel and walk on to the beach.
Negatives: Everything. The first room we were given was dirty, full of dust, the curtains were filthy, stained yellow, orange, and brown - they had never been cleaned. The chairs were also stained as well as the mattress and pad. They gave us another room and it was slightly cleaner with no dust and the curtains were only slightly yellow. The chairs were still old and stained. On the 3rd night we found a roach on the bathroom wall at 4:45am. We asked for compensation and after insisting we only received $56 and change. They said since we booked through booking.com they couldn't give us more money back because booking.com received the bulk of the payment not them. I called booking.com and it seems that's not true, however they said they would try to talk to the hotel to get us a better refund. We'll have to wait a few days for that according to the customer support person. We paid over $400 for a booking.com 4 star reviewed roach hotel. Now we know not to trust review ratings. We didn't read the reviews because we decided last minute to go away after the passing of my mother because I just needed to be by the ocean. It's turned into such a stressful weekend and I lost so much money.

Positives: The area was nice & everyone was friendly.
Negatives: When I asked about a beach chair I was told you had to be an owner. I was a paying guest. I was also told I could get a beach chair from the life guard (2 chairs & an umbrella for $25 a day) When I went out & asked the life guard he said $40 a day, it was already after 1p & I only needed 1 chair. I think if you are a paying customer then you should be able to get the same perks as an owner. Everyone is paying to stay there.
