Super 8 by Wyndham Myrtle Beach/Market Common Area

Negatives: The heating/air conditioner sounded like a jet airliner engine every time it came on. Very difficult to sleep because of frequent intervals of unit coming on. Appears that there was small amount of black mold accumulated on the ceiling in our room.

Negatives: Nothing never had the opportunity to stay

Negatives: The floor was sticky and the room had a terrible smell (couldn't place it). Went to bed at 12 but was kept awake for 3 hours by the constant slamming of the stairwell door (we were across from the stairwell). Even after the host said she put a sign on it. Then there was the overpowering smell of marijuana coming from the vestibule beside our room. It was giving my husband and I a terrible headache. It could have triggered a seizure for my husband. We wound up leaving at 3 a.m. to drive 3.5 hours back home! The desk host was amicable until we complained of the pot smell, then her only response was "We can't do anything about that." Really? The entire place (especially the stairwell) reeked of cigarette smoke. We did get a "non-smoking" room but it doesn't help when people are smoking right outside the room and it creeps in! Terrible place! I wouldn't go back here if someone paid me to!

Negatives: The first room they had us was on the second floor and was not finished being cleaned. We walked in and there was yeah all over the floor, urine and tissue all the toilet and had an unpleasant odor. The owner was nice enough to allow us to choose our next room. The first day, housekeeping only changed our towels, trash and didn't make the beds. Went to the front desk to complain about not having beds made and the lady condoned the behavior. The entire stay was not pleasant. A ton of noise all times of night, smoke coming into our room when it was supposed to be a smoke free hotel.

Negatives: The staff showed us three rooms until we found one that didn’t stink from cigarette smoke marijuana, or the strong smell of disinfectant The room was disgusting. The lampshades were dirty. The electric plug on the lamp didn’t work elevator was dirty I’m 73 years old. The worst hotel I ever stayed at in my life. This is an honest review not exaggerating.

Negatives: Dirty hotel, people fighting and messing around at our door in the early hours of the morning. I forgot the charger for my iPhone and my Apple Watch at the hotel, when I went back to get it no one knew anything. The objects were not returned to me and I had to leave Hegel as it was impossible to stay there! simply terrible!!
