you get what you pay...
Positives:
My booking was nonrefundable otherwise I would have left at check in. Did not feel safe, did not eat breakfast there. Was anxious to get up and leave. Didn’t see the blood stained sheet and pillow case until morning!

management and staff were friendly and accommodating. The maid service was performed daily and it was always nice to come back to my room to see that the dirty towels and linens had been changed and my bed had been made. Nothing was stolen or damaged while I was away from my room which is always a good sign.
Negatives:
there wasn’t enough parking for the hotel building. The hotel building itself was an older building and definitely had some issues that needed to be resolved. In particular, there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom which I was not impressed with, and also the bathroom light fixture was rusting which is also not good. There was a broken switch plate on an electrical socket in the area near the sink which is a safety hazard. The room I stayed in was very small but you get what you pay for. It didn’t stink and there didn’t seem to be any health or hygiene issues at the property when I was staying there, but there were some issues with some of my neighbors being very noisy. A couple of people had a domestic dispute while I was trying to sleep and there were some sketchy looking people coming and going from the hotel rooms above me. Other than that I didn’t have any major complaints.
