The location was great. The staff were amazing. hotel employee & the other young ladies were very good hosts. The front desk staff on Saturday & Sunday were very pleasant. Wings were good. The hotel house keepers very nice also. Emeris soul food is great!
Negatives:
I wish there was free continental breakfast, but they have restaurants close by that are good. Also this location allows pets. Hopefully theyre only allowed two floors the 2&4th floor. Pleasant Staff Altogether Thank you

Travel I 95 four or five times a year always stop along the way , will return to this location

Spent ten hours driving, booked this specific hotel because it said it had a restaurant and bar. We showed up an hour and a half before they were supposed to be closing. They turned us away. Then we wake up and there is no breakfast, coffee or anything else that was mentioned in the adds.

Wow! This hotel has an on-site restaurant/bar, which is so nice especially after a long day's travel on the road. Easy on/off from I-95, great location, very clean, updated property, super staff, and a great night's rest! The restaurant has a great selection of food to choose from for B/L/ or D. We had a great dinner that was moderately priced. Hubs had chicken and I had salmon (yummy)! For breakfast you get a voucher, which we used. Breakfast was very good! Nice selection of libations if you choose to have one and prices are very good! The wait staff are great and so personable! We will definitely be back!!

One made an assumption that breakfast was included BUT, what they gave us was a voucher for buying breakfast at a very expensive in hotel restaurant. We had trouble communicating with the server about my wife's severe allergy to anything dairy. Expensive food.

Positives:
As soon as I stepped up to the front desk to check-in I knew that I was in trouble. The woman behind the desk did not greet me, I had to say hello and introduce myself. She had an awful attitude for someone that is paid to greet guests. Her request for my driver's license and credit card were curt and when I asked her if she had my credit card information on file since I had prepaid and did not recall what card that I used, she was rather annoyed with me.
The desk phone rang and she answered it. Looked at me like I was an alien and I told her that I had another question and that I would gladly wait until she completed her call. I am not sure who the caller was, a guest or a personal caller, but I felt sorry for them. Thedy were treated in the same surly way that I was.
Someone needs to reevaluate who they hire to have contact with customers.
Another comment.....this has not happened to me before....as I was lounging in bed watching television, my head propped up with pillows, I began to have some difficulty breathing. As it turns out, some of the pillows in the room were down and I am allergic to them. One would think that only hypoallergenic pillows would be used in a hotel or at least let guests know they are being used.
Lastly, it was relatively late and we wanted to grab a bite to eat and imbibe in a couple of beers to unwind and were supposed to get an adult beverage each as part of our booking. The waitress told us we could not order anything off of the back of the menu (the wine, cocktail, beer, etc) since it was Sunday. I asked her if that was the policy for the entire corporation and she told me it was just this one particular Holiday Inn. I thought that to be odd, but accepted the explanation. Again, this policy should be made clear before booking. A gentleman came out (chef?) and was very helpful directing us to another restaurant where we could enjoy a cold beer with our meal.
Please be clear that both of these staff members were delightful.
