Negatives: Entire building was under construction, which was inconvenient. Elevator was out of service, so senior citizens lugged luggage up and down three flights of stairs. No notice given of situation. We arrived at 7:30 and were told we could cancel without penalty at 7:30 on a Friday night. Construction work began at 8 a.m. Saturday morning. No pool. No workout room. Parking away from building and entrances blocked/closed during my stay.

Positives: Rooms were recently renovated, so they were nice. The breakfasts were very nice. And the front desk clerk, Jessica, went above and beyond to solve our issues and made us feel welcomed. She was the best part of our stay.
Negatives: We discovered upon arrival that the property exterior was being renovated. Unable to park close to entrance and parking lot had been torn up so that we parked on a dirt lot. Our room was on the third floor and the elevator was out of order. Even though we are both in our late seventies we had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The really helpful desk clerk offered to book a room for us at the only other hotel in town or relocate us at another Hampton which was far more expensive and over ten miles away. We opted to stay and were able to be moved to a first floor room the next day. So it worked out in the end, but there was absolutely NO disclosure about the conditions and n advance. If so, we would have booked elsewhere. I am astounded that this was perceived by Hilton to be acceptable and up to their standards.

Negatives: The hotel was under construction. I ended up canceling my reservations. It would have been nice to know that renovations were being done to this hotel. No one informed us of the renovations prior to our arrival. This was not a good look. Better communication is needed so customers can make an informed decision.

Positives: The staff was amazing. Everyone was truly interested in my plans and meeting my needs.
Negatives: They failed to tell anyone that they were under construction and that the pool and elevators were out of commission. Also, the bathroom was not as clean as I would have thought it should be. Also, no workout area to use

Negatives: They shouldnt be open, theyre doing renovations that arent complete. Elevator not working and tried to give me a king room when i booked a double, that was the only room available because of renovatioons not being fully booked, theyre were 3 cars in the parking lot. Not happy at all!
