Excellent location near food, shopping (mall, Target, Walmart, etc) and interstate yet tucked away in a quiet area. Very clean with the most comfortable pillows of any hotel that we've ever stayed in. A++
Negatives:
If there is anything I'd change it's that the bathroom fan comes on with the light. It would be nice to use the bathroom mirror for applying makeup without the loud fan noise and without disturbing anyone who is still asleep.

While checking in, the employee didn’t say a word to me. They didn’t tell me where my room was, about the charge for incidentals, or that you had to pay for breakfast. In the morning, I was getting breakfast for my kids and was told I needed a coupon to do so. This is something that needed to be mentioned during check in. There were no signs stating that rule either.

There were stains on the floor next to bed when we arrived. Only received an invoice for the pet fee. The clerk said that because we booked through booking.com I would not receive a receipt - did not like that. Also told that I would be charged $25 for incidentals. If I didn't incur incidentals, I would receive a credit on my card in 7-10 days! I think this was a new person working at the desk. Friendly but didn't seem knowledgeable. Will not stay at another Holiday Inn.

The days I put it on the app did not match the days generated on the app so it booked the wrong day and will not refund my money. What a joke last time I use booking.com and hotel in Franklin.
