Room was in violation of fire code and did not have a fire detector. cords were hanging from ceiling. was not allowed to change rooms. couches were deeply soiled and we were told they were getting new furniture and they were a pet friendly facility so that’s why it smelled like dogs

I liked how the pullout couch was divided from the room with the beds.

I did not like that the space were the pullout couch was unable to get any air from the a/c unit unless the door that leads to the bedroom was open

at room 333. hallway carpet trashy where the maids swept from rooms. musty air in room. temp went up to 79. cracks and chips in walls and doorways. apparently this was a pet floor. complained. got moved to 233, second floor. much better but a bad experience. pool closed when we checked in at 7 pm. pool being shocked. never got to use the pool. breakfast disappointing. got Cracker Barrel breakfast takeout.

No hot breakfast as advertised, there's a pet fee now that's not advertised when they were always free at La Quinta's. Filthy floors, loud ac in room didn't sleep for the two nights we were there. Rude customer service. Don't think I'll ever stay at a La Quinta's again stayed at three bad ones in one year...

Positives:
Convenient to the ball fields we needed to get to.
Staff was helpful. Funky style. Decor. Waterfall and fish pond. Microwave in room didnt work but they changed it out for us.
Negatives:
Roaches, lack of towels for 4 persons for 4 days(they gave us pool towels to use at night)
Price was higher than usual for location and time of year. Later learned of increase in price due to softball and baseball tournaments
Fridge control knob was broken so everything in fridge was frozen.

Negatives:
I was approached by a non guest on the 3rd floor asking me for money. I was concerned for my safety. While going to my car I was approached by a person driving a car who was not a guest asking for money. I did not feel there was adequate security for the hotel!! At all. A non guest on the 3rd floor is scary. No one not staying there should be in the hotel. All guests should only be allowed to enter through the main doors. It’s not a safe area to be that unsecure. Do not recommend allowing your teens to be unattended or walking alone.

Breakfast was good, didn't have full breakfast bar due to COVID precautions still in place. Room was very nice and comfortable.
Negatives:
Didn't have patio fireplace set up, was looking forward to it. Also was anticipating full breakfast bar but it was still good for what they offered. Very nice place!

The set up of the king suite was nice. Our teenagers were able to have their own space and we could go to sleep earlier while they watched tv later.

It was a nice hotel...
Negatives:
The TV wouldn't work and they never came to the room to look at it. They wanted us to just move rooms at 1130pm. They also came into our room before we checked out. We had left our portable charger in the room charging because we had planned on coming back to get it and possibly swim before checkout but when we came back at 930 the room was all stripped of linens and the charger was gone. Only thing they could say was to check our bags for it! I would understand if we had checked out but we hadn't yet.
