Positives:
Desk reps were very nice and helpful, even with booking.com difficulties. They were very busy but still polite and helpful. Shout out to K Lee! Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and modern. Our teenagers loved it and said it was their favorite stop on our trip. Pool was nice for kids to play and adults to supervise. Huge entry area was cool looking. Coffee in the lobby was pretty good (when they made me a fresh pot, which they did no problem), and they offer some real creamers, not just powder packs. Overall a nice stay.
Negatives:
Location seemed questionable from a non-local perspective, and my friend didn't feel safe parking her van in the back. But everything was fine!
I also didn't like being at the end of a hall (with my small children) when the exit door to outside is NOT locked. Anyone can come right in the side doors.
I was also disappointed that my room smelled smoky (it's not supposed to, and the other rooms we were in did not. So just two of our rooms, possibly used by the same group the day before?).
Finally, this sounds silly, but I was disappointed about the sausage gravy at breakfast. It ran out around 9:15, 9:20, and they didn't replace it (breakfast went until 10a). I (and others) waited patiently because they were still super busy, and then when I finally asked, they said since breakfast was almost done (by this time it was 9:50), they weren't going to fill it. When I mentioned how long I'd been waiting, they said they were also almost out of gravy and weren't getting a truck until Tuesday (it was Sunday). I never eat sausage gravy because it's terrible for you, so I really look forward to it at hotel stays.

Bathroom has no Hooks to hang Wet towels, there's no shelf in the shower to put soap or shampoo. No exhaust fan/vents in the bathroom, The living room area was very hot, no air flow from the bedroom. Bedroom stayed freezing. Room felt wet/damp.
