The staff was courteous and the breakfast was as I expected (modest continental breakfast of cereal, milk, muffins, bagels- if you were super early). The room was clean and fine for a night or two stay.
Negatives:
Bathroom is old and the tub faucet dripped continuously. The first night was pleasant and I had no complaints. On the second evening after returning back to the hotel from dinner, we walked off the elevator and were engulfed in Marijuana fumes that permeated the entire floor. I went downstairs and told the woman at the front desk, though not sure what she could actually do about it. The smell was so strong and was still present the next morning. I was traveling with children and was disappointed that this occurred as there is a clearly printed NO SMOKING sign next to each room (which means no smoking of any substance as it is a FIRE HAZARD, among other things).

Sadly although the Lodge was exceptional clean. It is not well built. We heard every little sound from hallway..We were on the 2nd floor..The noise level from the 3td floor disturbed us until we'll after midnight. They weren't partying. Just walking around. Made it seem like the ceiling was about to cave in.

We needed a first floor room as requested when booked the room, due to health issues. We had to stay in second floor with many room avalible on bottom floor…

Breakfast was ridiculous!!! I promise I am not picky but frozen tuber sausage biscuits side of a quarter, the muffin was so hard I couldn’t eat it either

The front desk guy (Christopher) was absolutely freaking awesome. We had some issues arise with our reservation through booking and even though we were both pretty aggravated about it, he was very respectful. He went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue with the reservation and went as far as helping us find another room at a different hotel (didn’t have money on a debit card they could accept and booking hadn’t issued a refund for previous reservation that was unable to be used). We didn’t get to stay here this time but if we’re ever needing a place to stay again in Dayton, we will most definitely be getting a room with them!
