Elevator was dirty and visibly soiled. The room smelled of weed smoke. The room looked dirty (spots,discolorations, markings, etc.) but it was clean. If the room was dirty, I would have left.

You do not mention anything about the hotel having a pet fee. I queried Pet Friendly hotel/motels and there was no mention of the pet fee. You need to make customers aware of these fees.
