They did upgrade me to a better rooms after all of the complains I had about the room they put me in

Well, how do I even start… I knew this was a motel and you get what you pay for, but I didn’t realize how bad it’d be. The room they first put me in was extremely dirty, the sink wouldn’t drain, the TV was broken, there was poop left from the previous guest inside the toilet and I literally found a pack of cigarettes, fake nails and blood inside the drawer of the nightstand. I called to complain and they told me they’d fix it. After coming back a couple hours later I called and complained again, so they were kind and upgraded me to a suite, which was clean and functional. I had a two night reservation, I wake up the next morning with a message from booking.com saying that the hotel had canceled my reservation due to no show and that I was going to be charged an extra $70 for not showing up. I had to spent hours on the phone with booking and went to the front desk to have them solve the situation, which they did. I went about my day and when I came back around 4p there were several parties going on, Mexicans were playing banda music outside my room while drinking beer on their truck bed (kinda impressive because it was raining and they did not care), the room three doors down from mine was blasting rap music and smoking pot, thankfully all of that was done by 11p. Do yourself a favor, spent some extra money and go to a better place.
