Looks refurbished or new-ish. Our room seemed unfinished with an open wall cutout where an electrical box might go and an empty closet alcove (a closet / armoir was out in the living area, not in the bedroom)

The TV didn’t work and the hotel would not compensate or give a discount. But we were exhausted and every hotel was sold out. Front desk staff was slovenly and unprofessional. The morning front desk attendant washed key cards in buckets at the front desk, vacuumed during breakfast rush, and they served yogurt in large community open bowls. Gross. The hotel had no ice machines — they had to get ice from the kitchen. Our room had a microwave and refrigerator — but had cupboards with pots and pans. That was weird. We called this place The Element of Surprise. Horrible. One of our worse hotel experiences. Still waiting for the hotel manager to call us back.

Room was spacious, well appointed, and the entire hotel was brand new. Beds were comfy and bathroom was very modern, spacious.
Location was right off the highway and there were lots of restaurants very close by.
Negatives:
Our only complaint was that there was no extra bedding for the pull out couch, however, when we called and asked for some, they brought it right up. The front staff were excellent. Really, no complaints. Parking was free and plentiful.

Parking was a concern due to having to park in the rear of the building with no obvious security cameras.. Access from the rear parking lot through the patio area was difficult if you were carrying anything. It is poorly designed.
