A new Red Roof policy of pre charging $100 per room for "incidentals" at check in. It will be credited back to our card in 7-10 days.
Not just put a card on file but charging the $100. We were just staying the night & literally there for less than 12 hours. This policy is beyond stupid.
We will not be staying at Red Roof again!

Was dirty saw roaches crawling near the tv, the sprinkler system was moldy and corroded. Hallway had a horrible smell. Felt very unsafe, glad I was with my husband. Do not recommend!!

Although the price was reasonable we were extremely disappointed. The building had a musty odor. Our rooms did not smell pleasant either. The joining room doors were dirty and had mold on them. The bathroom toilet paper holder was completely rusted. There was a hole in the bather room wall. We also found bugs in one of our 2 rooms on the last night in the bathroom and near the window. I woke with horrific allergies sneezing, wheezing and eyes puffy after the first night likely from dust mildew or mold which I am allergic to. In addition our iron was broke and the ironing board ripped and rusty
Our tv in one room was broke which was immediately replaces and none of the vending machines had water to which the front desk did provide us some waters. I had expressed our dissatisfaction to the front desk worker who wrote down these complaints for a manager to see on Sunday or Monday. We never received any contact. Although I understand this is a reasonably priced hotel and certainly didn't have unrealistic expectations, the conditions certainly were not acceptable. We had a guest with us and I was thoroughly embarrassed.
I do believe we should receive some reimbursement. A response from a manager or someone would be greatly appreciated.

The staff was rude as could be got there at 5 in morning. The guy tried to tell me that he had no open rooms when I already had my room booked and paid for made me wait in the lobby for an hour till he finally found my room.
