Overall the hotel is fine. My problem was with the first room we were given. It was like a hurricane in the room. A giant blower was drying some problem. I asked for another room & finally, after 10 minutes of arguing & calling the manager, we finally got another room. The 2nd room was everything I expected from a Home2 Suites. Breakfast was good too.

Positives:
The breakfast was horrible. They should have more options for people who don't eat pork. The location of the hotel was decent. It was nothing like the first time I stayed at this property.
Negatives:
When I first got there and received my keys, I went to the floor that I would be staying in, and it had this tuna smell to it. The sheets weren't clean. I had to request fresh blanket. I request for housekeeping to clean the room, that didn't happen. Oh, and the icing on the cake, was when I was packing everything up, I had like 35 minutes left before it was time for me to check out, housekeeping came knocking on the door, I inform them that I was still in there, not even 10 minutes later they came back. That was very rude and unprofessional. You shouldn't rush guest out especially since they are allotted a certain time to be check out.

The breakfast at the location could have had more options. My family does not eat meat so breakfast was a waste. There should have been grits or oatmeal daily. The waffle machine also stopped working so the only options that were really available were toast, grits, and bread.
Negatives:
The breakfast could have been better. There was also an altercation with some on site employees that spilled out into the quest area and was able to be heard by any guest walking by. There seemed to be no control over the situation that could have turned into a fist fight. I did not feel that at the time of the situation, my family should have even been in the hotel. It was very intense. Also, the night front desk agent was very blunt and not welcoming at all (Juancarlos). There was no welcome when we arrived because he was not at the front desk and his answers were very dry. He did help me find some honey for my daughter to help with her bronchitis while we were there. He just needs to work on his people skills a little better.
