The rooms were large, and there was an oven in the room, not just a stove top like a lot of places. The location of the property is pretty awesome as it’s close to everything. The wifi was pretty decent. The staff - with the exception of the lady who checked us in, seemed to be very friendly and honest. The Roku TV, though small, in the room with the king sized bed, was very nice to have. The bed was pretty comfortable also, so I didn’t wake up hurting as I often do when we stay away from home. Our room(s) were on the first floor, so that was nice also. The plumbing seemed pretty well maintained. The ice machine always had ice. There was plenty of space for our dogs and us. There was a nice area for us to walk our dogs. The pet fee was more than reasonable. What really struck me was how well the owner (at least I am assuming he was the owner) treated me. I felt very welcome around him, and very appreciated. I cannot stress enough how important this factor is because THIS is what brings people back even more than anything else will!
Negatives:
The rooms weren’t the cleanest. The carpet was sticky and there were cobwebs. There was a musty smell to both of the rooms we had (family suite is actually 2 adjoining rooms) and one of the doors to the outside didn’t actually lock even though there was a key card lock on it, so it wasn’t all the way secure. The lady who checked us in, charged me $170+ extra for no reason, stating the owner had told her to do so. He hadn’t, and I knew that because I’d heard what he’d told her with my own ears. Luckily the rest of the staff, including the owner, had integrity, and a refund for that money was put in without my asking for it. The microwave in the king bed room did not have a plate in it. The oven kept turning off while we were trying to use it. There was a hole in the seal where the a/c unit was, where you could see outside. The pool wasn’t open.

The room was absolutely filthy, dust tags hanging all over the celing, sliding door rotted out and a stick holding shut, it had a very bad smell, and had bugs crawling in the bathroom. The chair we had for sitting was nasty, and we were afraid to sit in it. Value was ok but I was afraid to go to sleep.

I was very disappointed with the room, the outside looked great but inside was a wreck

Never got a clear answer if we would be refunded or not for checking out 2 days early. We're only in town for an event that got canceled. Said we had to wait till the m manager came in but we never saw him our hard anything back.

The breakfast was the worst I've ever seen for advertising "breakfast included". There wasn't an employee to help. The furniture in the rooms is old & used. The t.v. was only about 36".
It is way overpriced. It's like a 2 star motel for about $40.00.
