Negatives: Some of the furniture was showing wear.

Negatives: The sheets on the bed were stained and wrinkled. My husband had to go to the front desk and get us some "clean"sheets, and we changed the sheets ourselves.We have NEVER had to ask for clean sheets anywhere we've ever stayed, and we've been married 35 years! Also, the heater wasn't working properly. The control panel buttons were very worn and some didn't even work! The thermostat would not adjust up or down and the fan speed motor would not turn off of continuous. This caused me to get 2 hours sleep the whole night, because I had to keep getting up to turn the heater off because it was stfling HOT in our room, and then I would get back up again every hour and turn the heater back on because the room was too cold! It was snowing outside and very cold, so we needed the heater. My husband got sick from the see saw effect of too hot and too cold, and he missed a day of work because of this crazy heater! When checking out, we told the man at the front desk about the broken heater, and he said it was because it was the first use of the season. However, that was NOT the problem. That heater needs to be replaced, it does NOT work properly.

Negatives: Breakfast had limited choices and the juice machine was out of order. Somewhat outdated in decor

Negatives: Multiple types of bugs in the bathroom No juice or hot water at breakfast

Negatives: The breakfast was lame

Negatives: The room had a bad smell..was not pleased with not having enough toilet paper nor no facial tissues for this time of year. Need to upgrade your coffee makers too!

Negatives: When walkong around inside our room, we were shocked at the amount of dirt and grime we got on the soles of our feet.

Negatives: No particular issues.

Negatives: Ice machine didn't work.

Negatives: We had stayed at this particular Quality Inn before, last year - and really loved it, so we booked it again for this road trip. However, we were disappointed. While the staff were friendly and the room large, clean, and comfy, the entire place seemed just blah. Last year, there was a definite attention to detail, and everything looked gorgeous. This time it was just bare and plain - especially the lobby. Breakfast was sorely lacking with the juice machine out of order and no bread of any kind. The hotel's ice machine was also out of order, causing us to have to stop and purchase ice after we left in the morning. At one point there was a woman in the lobby who accidentally locked herself out of her room, and there was no one at the front desk. She waited a long while and even rang the bell but no one came. We found and had to make a phone call for help, and only then did a disheveled man appear to assist. Ridiculous.

Negatives: I didn’t like that the bathroom faucet has no strainer, water will splash all over my clothes everytime I open it
