In the past, I felt like this hotel was really well managed and staffed. They are currently renovating, so giving them the benefit of the doubt. There wasn't anything really wrong, it just wasn't up to previous experience/expectations.
Negatives:
Staff and people they seemed to know congregated in the entry way, making it difficult to get in and out. Construction mess in the elevator. Nothing really wrong, just not great.

The elevator did not work on Sunday and Monday. We had to carry all of our stuff down from the 2nd floor and I have knee issues. This made for extreme pain in my knees. Also the shower rod was not put up correctly and water from the shower landed on the floor outside of the tub. Internet was not working so watching TV at was a challenge.
