Positives: The brother and sister front desk staff were fantastic. Everytime we stayed there.
Negatives: Rest staff just looking for reason to block you. I can't help the door knobs are screwed into rotten wood. What a shame I really liked that place

Disappointing
Shaunna family with young children March 30, 2024
Positives: The staff was friendly and the beds were fairly comfortable.
Negatives: The room was not very clean. We had dog pawprints and mud on our bed sheets. The matress itself had large stains on it. Roaches were seen crawling on the wall. The shower had moldy caulk, and the shower curtain had stains all over it. When we asked for additional towels since there were 4 of us in the room and we only had 1 towel, we were told they didn't have any more towels.

Exceptional

Positives: All Staff members were very nice and considerate to our wants and needs. They responded in a positive way to issues we addressed and even fixed the issues addressed very quickly. Even thou many complaints online about being to noisy at this hotel. We took a chance and found out for a Saturday night stay this place was very quiet and comfortable. Yes it got noisy after we got up but not while we slept... We got a good nights sleep. The picture of the TV on Priceline looks small but our room had a big TV and that is always a plus. We wanted to stay another night but had to go home. Thank you for the hospitality.
Negatives: 1The front of the hotel picture on Priceline looks different than in real life. Then my wife and I notice the small bushes on the right side of the hotel have been removed. Looks like an Old La Quinta hotel now owned by Baymont by Wyndham. Unknown to us nowhere on Priceline does it mention or show a picture of the rooms are facing to the outside of the Hotel and not to the inside. Safety is a big concern to us, since we have been woken up by someone breaking down the door in the past trying to steal our valuables. The man at the front desk was nice enough to let us inspect a room before assigning us a room. Room 149 did not meet our approval because the room smelling like exposed old rusty leaking brass plumbing. So we were put in Room 123 and no out of place odors were noticed. This is a rare situation where a hotel staff allowed us to inspect the room first and even said since we did not approve of room 149 that he would make sure we would not be charged on our credit card if we decided not to stay. We decided to stay and once in the room 123 we notice several short black pubic hairs and a long brown hair on the bed and asked for the staff to replace the bedding. Within 30 minutes it was replaced by the cleaning crew. The man at the front desk during check-in mentioned eggs on the breakfast menu but did not mention those eggs are actually hard boiled eggs. So that was a disappointment when we could of gotten dressed and gone to Denny's less than 50 feet away. There were 40 cups of yogurt in the cold items box where the milk is also stored which were outdated. I moved them to another shelf. This left 10 good cups of yogurt on the normal shelf where they usually are at. The lady employee from the front desk came by during her rounds and saw the way I had arranged the yogurt and asked who did this. I didn't say a word. Instead of complaining, she said "This is a vendor problem!

Positives: Location, AC was cold
Negatives: Floors were dirty, bathtub / shower was dirty, breakfast started too late, no non-stick spray for the waffle maker which made it to where waffles were not makeable.
