Room floor had trash on the ground, breakfast bar was empty and no seats available when we arrived and there was still an hour and half to go, they did start restocking. Booked with the specific understanding hotel had a pool. Informed it was closed

Breakfast was good and in quantity. Very comfortable room.
Negatives:
The bathtub was quite slippery and there was no mat. There were grab bars on the wall of the bathtub. Use them. Also the bathroom floor was slippery when wet.

The morning cleaning lady was so friendly as was the morning reception desk. Breakfast was delicious!
Negatives:
We've stayed in a plethora of hotels. Big. Small. Dives. Fancy. Chains. Independent. The gamut. Crawled into bed after a never ending day and thought maybe there was sand in the bed. What? Looked. Not sand. The sheets were pilled. Really, really pilled. There's a reason why we buy "hotel" sheets: because hotel sheets are amazing. I have never ever never seen hotel sheets that were this sad.
Not only that, the evening reception desk was super unfriendly. Just scowled at me on my way to the car and then asked me my room number on my way back in as if I were not supposed to be there (if I were trespassing, I'd be smart enough not to walk past the reception desk several times. Good grief).
