The motel is in a good area because it's by a decent amount of restaurants within 5 minutes and downtown and six flags

The rooms was very filthy, The bed had debris all in it like they just made the bed without wiping it or cleaning it. I found a roach in the bathroom while I was taking a shower and you can hear loud music from other rooms

I am totally disgusted with that facility. It was because of a former stay at the Red Roof in Longview,TX that caused me to book another RedR Roof hotel. Going forward, unless the facility is about five years or less, I will not book another one. This facility was so old that even the desk chair was full of scratches. The bed was as hard as a rock. I requested a different room for which the staff obliged. However, this room was infested with bugs and roaches. We decided to leave and find another accommodation at another hotel.

The Red Roof Inn exceeded all expectations! The room was spacious and immaculate, the bed incredibly comfortable. Mike at the front desk was friendly and helpful, ensuring our stay was perfect. The entire hotel was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend for a fantastic stay!

Sheets were clean and soft, no bed bugs. The morning desk clerk was kind, as was the previous evening's. Lighted parking gave us a bit of reassurance that our vehicle was safe. Dogs welcomed. Air conditioning worked well.
Negatives:
There were dirty shoe prints on the walls, the wall behind the sink was crumbling, pieces on the counter. The bath tub was spotted, afraid to shower in it, so I didnt. The bed was squeeky.
The previous tenant 's black hair was noted in two locations.
Upon arrival, four police cars were in the parking lot, six officers present.
We were fearful and sleep was broken.
Hinges on the bathroom were heavily rusted. Dirt and grime in the corners.
The laminate flooring was separating and damaged.
The neighbourhood was scary.
None of the above was mentioned in the advertising.
The building was even painted a different color.
