No warning that the whole hotel was under onstruction/remodeling. Nevertheless, I was charged full price. That's ridiculous. To make it even worse, I prepaid for late checkout but was charged for it anyway. When I emailed Hilton to request a correction no response. Terrible.

Very dissapointing.
Positives:
The room was wonderful. Very clean, spacious, comfortable. Cannot beat the location, just a short walk to the AT&T conference center in one direction, and to the capitol in another direction. During my stay the hotel was under renovation, so half of the lobby was closed off, but I didn't notice. The pool was closed because the pool deck was being worked on, but seeing as it was February, I wasn't looking to go for a swim!

Location!! Proximity to the Capitol.
Negatives:
Under full remodel construction. Valet and parking was terrible with crazy waits. Underground garage being used for construction staging vs protecting my car and still charged a hefty nightly fee for parking. Lobby was awful due to construction.
Negatives:
I paid $---+ tax and fees. However, the hotel charged me $51 + tax for valeting my car. No option to park the car myself in the garage.That was too steep. When asked the hotel front desk why it cost $51 to valet the car, they said that we were in Austin!
