The staff was wonderful and very kind. The free breakfast was good - there was an omelette station, yogurt, various baked goods, coffee, ect. The location was great - walkable to various places, and it was not noisy once you're in your room.

Such a great hotel. New rooms that are well equipped and clean. The location is excellent. You can walk to so many places from here.
One of the best hotel gyms we have used and the staff were all very friendly. The free breakfast was excellent - such a good range of food and beverages.

The location is excellent for seeing downtown Austin.
Negatives:
I paid extra on booking.com for a city view but the hotel said they do not have to honour that for 3rd party bookings so I got a standard room with no view. Accepting it is a downtown hotel, the room on 9th floor was incredibly noisy, seemed like very little soundproofing from glazing. I'm not a light sleeper usually, but the noise kept me awake quite late. I was staying on a leisure trip and was admittedly being lazy, but was woken at 8.15 by housekeeping banging on the door. By 9.00 there was very little selection left for breakfast (not sure if there had been more earlier), no clean coffee cups and a 10-15 minute wait if you wanted eggs. The hotel just didn't feel worth the 300 dollars I paid for one night, except for the great location.
