Location was very good. Staff were very nice. Keith at the reception was wonderful.

One didn’t have easy access to the car 24/7. Very early hour check out, even though we gave all the heads up, was problematic.

$45 required valet parking. Even when requesting car ahead of time it wasn't there. We didn't drive for almost 2 out if 3 days but had to pay. For nothing! Staff was not very friendly. Service in restaurant was slow. Lotion not replaced in room and towels were worn. No little niceties eg chocolate. Nothing special for over $450/night.

Unique historical mansion

Beautiful old villa and gorgeous spacious rooms. Pool is small but nice. Drew checked us in and was super friendly.

Positives:
This was a trip for my daughters 14th birthday. My mom, both daughters, and I spent a few days here. She picked this hotel due to the history, which she told us about at least 5 times throughout our stay. I was highly impressed with the staff, the best in the industry no doubt. They couldn't have made it any more special. My kids and I have had an insanely rough year, this was exactly what we needed at precisely the right time. I seriously will never forget the time we spent here and I know she wont either. I seriously can't say thank you enough to Hotel Ella and her glorious staff.

We thought original restaurant was special when we booked turned out not to have a real chef part time student staff . Not up to expectations as per web site.

It’s a beautiful property in a great location

The room was very loud! It has very thin walls and we could hear everything that was going on outside our room. I was woken up at 6 am because the people above us were getting ready to leave. I could even hear their conversation! I wouldn’t stay here again because of this.
