Positives:
Great location. Few minute walk to historic rainy Street. awesome lobby. Very friendly check-in staff with complementary margaritas.
Negatives:
The bed and particularly the bed headboard vibrated when the air-conditioning was on. Had to keep it off for the stay. In order to sleep.
I also did not like the available creamer for the coffee in the room. I did not mind that it was in a strange paste format, but it contained sugar, and I do not like sugar in my coffee, and there were no other creamer options in the room.

Happy hour in the lobby was a nice touch with good margaritas offered on the house.

The bed was softer than I prefer.
The extra charges were high. $29.00/ day random fee of which $15 was refundable. $64 for parking per night.

The location was great, the amenities including having a nice restaurant and cafe inside that could charge to the room was an awesome bonus. The room size, black-out curtains, and sound machine made for a comfortable stay.
Negatives:
We had difficulty with check-in. We requested an early check-in and while we understood it is subject to availability we were told we were next to have our room cleaned and ended up waiting 2 hours missing some of the events we had planned. We could have worked with the delay of check in, but we would have like the communication that it could be hours before checking in.

The friendly staff - and especially the valet team-were exceptional. The hotel has an amazing vibe of being hip and cool in a laid-back way. Proximity to Rainey Street is just an added bonus!
