La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin North

Negatives: Lots of homeless walking around at night, stains on the carpet, very little/not enough toiletries given for two people for 2 nights.

Negatives: the people there smelled like weed and just didnt seem very family friendly.

Negatives: The lady was very rude and unprofessional at the front desk. I booked la Quinta to attend a funeral in Austin and whenever I arrived I realized the hotel wasn’t close to the location I needed to be at as Austin is a big city. I asked if there was any way I could get my money back so I can book another hotel that was closer to the location I needed to be at and she got an attitude with me and then lied and said I showed up and decided I didn’t want to stay after showing up so that they wouldn’t refund me my money for her comment but thank you to the Double Tree Austin University Area they were great.

Negatives: Noisy people in hallways all night long it seemed

Negatives: Broke hot tub, used coffee bags in maker, leftovers in fridge, no hot water in sink or shower and breakfast was late and sparce.

Negatives: The pool and hot tub weren't open.

Negatives: It was run down

Negatives: Breakfast lacked my experiences in the past

Negatives: It was alittle warm, downstairs so we took our breakfast back to our room

Negatives: I prepaid for my stay in full and paid a $50 deposit. When I returned the next day, I was told to pay another deposit even though the original one had never been refunded. When I tried to resolve the confusion calmly, staff called the police and locked me out of my room with my belongings inside. I ended up sleeping in my car and paying for two nights that I couldn’t use. I work hard, travel often, and have never experienced anything like this. The management showed zero empathy or logic; they kept the deposit and ignored my proof of payment. This place needs to review its policies and train staff in basic human decency.

Negatives: everything sucked the ac didn’t work everything was dirty and gross and got bit by bugs while sleeping to find the mattress with blood on it? it was disgusting and horrible

Negatives: Everything, there was nothing about the hotel that is redeemable. It looked abandoned and smelled the same. You could film an apocalypse movie there without changing a thing!

Negatives: This La Quinta was not like others I have stayed with before I was very dissatisfied with this location and would not recommend it. The rooms were filthy, there were roaches in our room, there was no water pressure or hot water in the shower. They didn't have a crib. I had requested a crib well in advance of our stay and no one bothered to inform me that they didn't have one available so I could make arrangement. This was an added inconveniences since the rooms were so filthy and my baby needed to be held the entire time since the room was nasty. The price I paid for these 2 nights was over priced considering the cleanliness of the rooms. I paid over $500 for 2 nights at this hotel and did not get the that level of cleanliness or satisfaction. I have stayed at La Quinta's before and they were superb. But this one was no different than staying at a motel 6. Very disappointed.
