Can?t remember if there is one sincere and honest to goodness single thing or something happened that took place during our stay. But i personally want to acknowledge the front desk attendant on duty, working solo that day, 5/19 for her work commitment.
Negatives:
Aside from being understaffed, the management must give hospitality & basic foundation and best practices. A rotten culture starts when someone breaks-in the organization and slowly pollute the work ethics of the team unnoticedly and in the face.

The receptionist was rude and wanted to charge $25 for booking in at 2:35. Toilet seat was broken and the room had a musky smell.

The floors, elevators, and curtains were dirty. The bathrooms and bedding were clean in the room, but I did not walk on the heavily stained floors in the room without socks. The breakfast area was not kept up either.

Getting to it. Construction, traffic, multiple lanes made it difficult and a little dangerous to get to and into the parking lot. No back entrance.

The ladies in housekeeping are kind and very hard working. Making sure you have all you need for your stay

The hotel itself was pretty run down, the room was updated but smelled musty. Breakfast was horrible. Ive stayed at several La Quintas and they were all very nice.

It was filthy. Stained walls, stained floors, stained curtains. Every piece of furniture looked decades old. Very poorly maintained. I am astonished that this was in a 3 star category.

The sink did not have hot water because the faucet broke. I requested a repair of the faucet. The faucet was repaired but there was still no hot water in the sink.
