La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham College Station

Negatives: Poor instructions were given at check in on how to get to our room in pouring rain causing us to get drenched. In addition the room was dirty. The carpet had large stains. The bathroom floor and tub were dirty and the safety mat in tub was peeling up. There was a dead bug on the floor. The hair dryer was useless as the plug did not work. The lightbulb in lamp on desk was missing and one by tv did not work. One lamp next to bed had been unplugged and no one bothered to plug it back in. I literally had to move the bed to plug it in. The sheets looked clean but one of the pillow cases had a black smudge on it that looked like mascara so not really sure. To top it off room had a king bed but they only left one cup and one coffee pod. Never again…

Negatives: There was a linking problem from the toilet that kept going all night that ran towards the bedroom. Also, there was roaches in the room. Bad quality.

Negatives: No one at front desk when I checked out. So, I did not get a receipt for my stay for tax purposes.

Negatives: Maybe the waffles for breakfast should have been reestocked quicker.

Negatives: This property is obviously older and has not been maintained. Proximity to Texas A&M main campus is excellent. Price was ok.

Negatives: Get rid of the cockroachs

Negatives: There are so many things to list- Dead bugs, alive ant in the bed, no trash can, no bath towels (only wash cloths/hand towels), stains on chair, wall, and bedding, leaking sink which put out water all over the floor when you use it, mold on the shower curtain. Just dirty and run down. Can I get a refund through you all or do I have to get that from the hotel? This was the worst experience I’ve had with a hotel ever. We were there for a sporting event, so we checked in late and left early otherwise I would have found other lodging.

Negatives: Gross. Dirty. Old pizza sausage in the corner near the desk. Not enough plugs so we had to unplug the lamp to charge our phones. Some bulbs not working. Dirty shower curtain. Dry wall peeling. Filth behind the night stand. Toilet doesn’t flush well. A/c turns off periodically so it’s hot and then cold. Brawl outside our room in the middle of the night. Pool full of algae. Hard time to get extra towels.
