Negatives: Limited dining options. No bar

Negatives: This was my 1st stay at a Tru by Hilton and it was underwhelming at best. Not at all what I've come to expect from a Hilton property. The amenities were bottom of the ladder room size ridiculously small and breakfast was disappointing and nearly nonexistent. Apparently they were only able to cook 1 item at a time in very small batches, most people eventually gave up. I understand the need for a competitive lower price point in the market but maybe until the brand is better known they should be more forthcoming and and clearly set lower expectations for Hilton customers.

Negatives: We tried to check in at 5:30pm when check in was anytime after 3pm. We were told that our room was not ready and have a seat in the lobby. We were there for a but but decided we would come back later. Where we were going there was a chance we would not be back before 12pm. I called to make sure our reservation would not be cancelled since we did try to check in. He told me "no, you will be considered a no show!" I asked how since it was not our fault the room was not ready. He said "That is our policy!" I asked to talk to a supervisor and he put me on hold then when he picked back up he said the room we reserved was not ready and did not know when it would be, but another one was and if we would agree to one a little smaller then he could get us that one. We reluctantly had to agree. Not once were we apologized to, told when check out was, time or location of breakfast. NOTHING! the only thing has asked is was 1 or 2 key cards. Checking out we were never asked if everything was good, if we enjoyed our stay or anything at all. We will not be going back to this hotel!!!
