We expected a lot from a new hotel that advertises a pool, BBQs, great breakfast and so on, but it was just a huge disappointment.
Negatives:
The hotel is terribly managed and staff doesn't care. Pool was closed, BBQs didn't work (and we had already bought food), one of the two elevators didn't let us select the (third) floor we stayed on and the rather limited breakfast selection included boiled eggs that were past their use-by date; I got severe food poisoning the same day. The check-in staff was absolutely clueless and the management didn't even bother to change the message you get before your stay, still saying all staff members and guest would have to wear face coverings (in 2024?), instead of telling us that pool and BBQ couldn't be used. Asked for the first time in dozens of stays at Hilton properties to honour the "satisfaction guarantee" and make it a free night, and all they were willing to give were "plenty of Hilton points", which turned out to be a measly 5000 points. Not really surprising that the management couldn't even get that right.
