Wonderful experience
Positives:
Nice open lobby. Buffet breakfast was fine except egg dishes weren’t to my liking. Access to property is through surrounding construction so not very attractive. Turned out to be great stay for eclipse as we were near a nature preserve. Overall fine stay and rating of location is probably function of why you are in Dallas and where you need to be. Hotel is close to a great restaurant for dinner: Kenny’s Wood Fired Grill. Highly recommend it.

Eclipse pricing but that was evident throughout Texas pre and post April 8!!!

Positives:
Breakfast was good, though it’s $19, not the $16 shown on Booking.com. The waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. I liked the water bottle filling station near the ice machine. The exercise room was clean and well-appointed.
Negatives:
The bathrooms feel like they were designed by someone who’s never used a bathroom. The square toilet is very uncomfortable; the square sink doesn’t drain properly because it’s perfectly flat on the bottom; the shower leaks so much through the shower door that it might as well not have a door.
It’s also a little annoying that the air conditioner display lights up upon motion detecting. Any time someone turns over in bed, the room lights up with a blue glow that’s distracting while you’re trying to sleep. I ended up throwing a hand towel over the display and that worked fairly well.

We were literally right across the street from our meeting location, so it saved us a ton of money on Ubers. The hotel was clean and well-maintained and the amenities were top notch.
