Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

Positives:
The staff was really friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. It was really quiet. Our room stayed nice and cold in the Texas heat. The location was never too far from anywhere we wanted to visit. It was also easily accessible with parking always available.
Negatives:
Our room was clean, but the property wasnt consistently clean. One time we came back from dinner and the first floor had some putrid smell. We were staying on the 3rd floor so by the time we got to the elevator we couldnt smell it. Another time there were dirty, gross hand prints dragged down the front of the elevator door that wasnt cleaned until the next day. Also someone left a bag of trash by the elevator door as well on our floor that wasnt picked up until later that evening. Another time food was left out just laying in the hallway. No plate or container. Just food tossed across the carpet on the 3rd floor. I dont know what guests were staying there but they werent respectful of the property.

Convenient - close to everything from the airport to all the attractions
Negatives:
Small parking lot - filled up very quickly. Parked near back of hotel a couple nights
Large red stain on carpet in common area of hotel room
Room not dirty to the naked eye but not fresh and appealing to the senses
I hope the cost was increased because j was there during a week a major conference was being held in the area because the value and price didnt match
